Exceptional Care from Diagnosis to Recovery I had been dealing with shoulder pain since December last year. By February, I had already seen an orthopedic doctor from the same network and started therapy, but unfortunately, the pain continued to get worse and I wasn't making any progress. My internal medicine doctor recommended Dr. Konchwala, telling me that he had an excellent reputation. I finally saw Dr. Konchwala at the beginning of June, and almost immediately, he was able to identify what was wrong — I had a frozen shoulder. After considering my history and the fact that therapy had not helped, he recommended surgery as the best option. On June 15, I underwent the procedure and stayed overnight in the hospital for recovery. From the moment I arrived, the entire experience was exceptional. The hospitality and care at the hospital honestly felt like a first-class hotel, and Dr. Konchwala and his entire team were incredibly professional, caring, and reassuring. I started therapy shortly after surgery, and today, I am so happy to say that my shoulders are doing so much better. I have regained almost full mobility, and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would especially like to mention Abroo Khurshid, my therapist, who has been nothing short of a miracle worker. She is incredibly patient, gentle, and understanding. She always takes the time to answer my questions, explain what is happening, and teach me how to manage the pain and work towards recovery. I truly feel that having her as part of my recovery journey has made such a difference. Just wanted to share a quick update on my knee recovery! I had a meniscus and PCL repair done by Dr. Mohammad Ashfaq Konchwalla, and honestly the surgery went really well. Since then I've been doing physio with Therapist Bishoy in medcare physio and rehab center, and I can't recommend him enough he's been an amazing therapist throughout this whole process. The progress has honestly surprised me. By week 8 I was walking completely without crutches, and now at week 10 I'm doing full squats on the TRX with no issues. It's been a solid recovery overall, and I'm feeling so much better than I did before the surgery. Really grateful for the care I've gotten along the way!

Dr Ashfaq is one of the most brilliant surgeons when it comes to Arthroscopic surgery in specific to Rotator Cuff. Meeting him was like finding a needle in a hay stack and his knowledge put me directly at ease. Being very active in contact sports my main concern was back to action.
